How to forward email from your domain to Telegram

Get email from [email protected] as a Telegram message and reply straight from your phone — the reply goes back to the sender as an email from your domain. Telegram delivery is a Pro feature.

What you get

When mail arrives at the alias, our bot sends it to your linked Telegram chat with the subject, sender, and body, and forwards any attachments as documents. Reply with Telegram's native Reply and we email your response back to the original sender from your domain — a fast, phone-friendly way to handle a domain address without an inbox.

Before you start

  • A verified domain.
  • A Pro plan — on Free, the Telegram option shows a "Pro" badge and is disabled.
  • The Telegram app on your phone or desktop.

Step by step

  1. On a verified domain, create an alias and under Deliver to choose A Telegram chat.
  2. Tap Connect your Telegram. This opens our bot in Telegram.
  3. Press Start in the chat. The connection page updates on its own once linked — no copy-pasting codes.
  4. Pick the connected chat from the Deliver to Telegram chat list, save, and send a test email to confirm it arrives.

Replying from Telegram

Each forwarded message ends with: Reply to this message to respond by email. Use Telegram's Reply action on that specific message and we send your text back to the original sender from your domain. A normal message that isn't a reply won't be sent — the bot will remind you to use Reply. Photos and documents you attach are relayed too.

Reuse a chat across aliases

A linked chat is saved to your account and can be reused by any alias on any domain. Want each domain in its own chat instead? See routing multiple domains to channels.

Good to know

  • Messages flagged as spam still come through, marked with a warning.
  • If your account drops from Pro, Telegram aliases stop delivering and those messages are logged as paused.
